Sometimes i feel like im in anki hell LOL. Bouras p/s is relatively fast to get through but you have to really do the slow grind with JS deck. The MCAT (Medical College Admission Test) is offered by the AAMC and is a required exam for admission to medical schools in the USA and Canada. I touched on every subject every day, with 1 or 2 specific subjects being the primary focus of the day.Welcome to the BEST place for MCAT prep and practice materials. ![]() I need the consistency of daily practice, even if it's just a quick exercise like writing out the amino acids or writing out the physics formulas. The 2 week rotating schedule you suggested would be even worse. It would leave lots of empty days for your brain to forget stuff. Otherwise, you only get fragmented, useless retention that cannot be used as an activated semantic context. But take note that this can only be true if you have encoded what you’ve learned before making flashcards. MCAT Deck Anki Palace MCAT ANKING OVERHAUL DECK This deck is a quick study deck for the MCAT. Retention of past knowledge makes future learning easier. If you only do one section per day, then you are studying each section only 1-2 times per week. AnKing is an expansion and improvement of the MileDown deck. I thought it was important to touch on every MCAT section every day. Is the link from the original Miledown post best I’ve seen a few posts with an updated deck, so I’m not sure what is recommended as the best to use. Some days I could do more, some days were less. This would be about 4 total hours of studying and maybe 60 sample questions. Then I would hit the other 3 MCAT sections with smaller sets of problems, maybe just 1 or 2 passages worth. Then I would spend at least an hour, sometimes more reviewing those questions and filling any content gaps those questions exposed. This would simulate a 1/2 section of the real test. I marked off about 30 sample questions from one MCAT section then set a timer for 45 minutes. on Extremely comprehensive Excellent deck. on Came highly recommended on Reddit The wording is okay, some of the blanks are weird. Newer decks have built on premed95’s original deck and provide a much more complete experience. Especially when you're first starting out. There are no images in the deck, and the extra examples are often difficult to understandfactors that play a big role in memory encoding and maximizing recall. I can't say for sure what exactly you should do, but I will share what worked for me. The cards are often simplistic and not well-written. I recently downloaded the MileDown deck on Anki and Ive set up my of reviews to 30 cards per deck for each day. ![]()
